Based in Wuppertal, Germany, Smochi started Music Production in 2006 around the age of 11. his musical roots are Oldschool Hip Hop and the Golden Era. Smochi produced a lot in the German Rap Scene for well-known artists like Cro, SSIO, Afrob and many more. He started to DJ in 2010 to learn Turntablism. So his main focus was on Battle DJing. After some years Smochi became more open minded and did his first steps in the clubs and in the edit game. He is also part of “Bazeclub” since 2018. An event series based in Wuppertal which takes place at the famous U-Club on a monthly frequency and was founded by his good friend Excez in 2005. Nowadays Smochi really likes to play open format and tries to give every set his special signature as you will hear down below in his Blends mix where he also included some unreleased heat produced by himself!
