Diggin' w/ Ticklish

Soulfulness, thumping kicks, gritty snares and a booming 808s. Those are the key elements that you can find on almost any Ticklish edit or original track. Solidifying his sounds of eternal R&B love filtered through Ticklish’s lush beats and playful trap, baile and footwork rhythms. Which brings back the relevance of classic tracks... if they ever lost it. He creates atmospheric love songs with the right touch of energy, that work equally well in the bedroom as in the club. His sets can be described as bass-heavy yet soulful, eclectic but always focused on

the dance floor. It’s that signature sound that earned him a Boiler Room set, with airplay on big radios like BBC Radio, RinseFM and Australian Triple J. It also got him gigs all across Europe, the USA, Asia and Festivals like Melt! and Splash Festival. Ticklish also managed to establish his signature sound in original productions. Since releasing on Germany’s infamous Live From Earth label, where he released „Romantic Footwork“, 2020 brought new originals like „The Way I Love You“ And „Lightning“, which got picked up for a smart commercial with Oumi Janta. His latest release is „Ticklish Reboots Vol. 10“ which is one in a string of releases celebrating covered and uncovered Hip Hop and R’n’B gems that gained worldwide support including from music crews including LA’s Soulection. As you already can tell, we are more than happy to have the one and only Ticklish featured on the next episode of "Diggin' w/".

Silk Sonic - Silk Sonic Intro

"The perfect intro for a perfect mini album. I probably listened to these tracks the most lately. The synergy of Anderson Paak. and Bruno Mars is just magic for me. So many references to classic soul and funk, I just love it."

"Can’t go wrong with some Summer. Loved this album as well but I’m especially a sucker for R&B vibes with clubby beats. So this Nola Bounce influenced track with City Girls is obviously my pick."

"I only just found out about Tkay Maidza and instantly loved her EPs. She’s got a remarkable range of genres that she masterfully covers. But Onto Me is the one for me with it’s R&B vibes and snappy drums."

Aphex Twin - Flim

"I don’t know what it is about this track. It’s probably the pairing of breakbeats with really lush chords and a cute melody that just gets me totally zen-ed out. It took me some time to really appreciate Aphex Twin, but the dude is exceptionally versatile and really gets away with almost everything he does. "

Hether - When U Loved Me

"This one is the perfect soundtrack for home cooked dinner dates with friends or partners and got me through the late pandemic. I used to listen to a lot of guitar based music when I was really young, so this hits home for me."
